Hayman & Hill 2007 Riesling is from Columbia Valley, Washington. However, Hayman & Hill Winery is located in Napa Valley, CA. This winery seeks out the grapes where they grow best. (Much like Cupcake does.) This was not a bad bottle of wine for $8; good value for the money. A nice fruity aroma with an apricot flavor. Light and refreshing. I could easily see it paired with Asian cuisine. Winemaker's Notes: Intense aromas of Apricot and Peach clearly identify this fully ripened Riesling while the luscious palate weight and fresh long finish speak volumes of flavor, structure, balance and depth.
